Gentile dr.ssa Parolini, mi sono per caso imbattuto in un servizio su UA-cam dove lei in maniera chiara e dettagliata descrive problematiche di vari casi di pazienti affetti da patologie retiniche e di come vengono interpretate le stesse per mezzo dell’ OCT. HO 74 anni, e il 10 u.s. sono stato sottoposto a vitrectomia per la asportazione di una membrana epiretinica occhio sinistro, molto verosimilmente instauratasi dopo un trattamento laser per il trattamento di un distacco di retina avvenuto qualche anno fa. A gennaio u.s. sono stato operato di cataratta o.s. ma, dopo questo intervento, la visione all’occhio sinistro è da subito risultata distorta, e ingrandita rispetto all’altro occhio! A questo punto, anche se la vista non era inferiore ai 6~7/10, ma ormai con evidenti anche se non gravi deformazioni con il test di Amsler, su consiglio del mio oculista, ho deciso, come detto in precedenza, di sottopormi a vitrectomia, avendo letto che con questo intervento, il recupero della qualità visiva dipende essenzialmente dalla condizione della retina prima dell’intervento stesso. Veniamo alla domanda: poiché sembra che l’intervento sia perfettamente riuscito, la retina è rosea, il distacco avvenuto a suo tempo è stabile, perché continuo a vedere ancora distorto? Inoltre la visione dell’occhio operato è ancora ingrandita rispetto all’occhio destro e, in aggiunta, la visione risulta sdoppiata, sopratutto se guardo verso il basso: quindi grossi problemi a scendere le scale, problemi alla guida ecc ecc?
